You should call before attempting to make your child vomit.  Many substances that children ingest are equally or even more harmful when vomited.

Information that you should have available when you call include:

• Container with label
• Name of substance
• Manufacturer's name
• Contents (if available) on label
• Time of ingestion
• Approximate amount of ingestion
• Any signs or symptoms
